Mrs Parsons our Lead English Teacher will be delivering the afternoon with a view to providing the students necessary strategies required to progress and achieve in their English Language exam. The three hour session will focus on how to maximise marks on Q5 of AQA English Language Papers 1 and 2. Q5 is worth 40 marks on both Language papers. Mrs Parsons will look at exemplar material and share tips and good practice that will impress examiners.
The afternoon is open to Year 10 and Year 11 students.
The cost is £50 (including all materials and refreshments)
The venue is North Halifax Grammar School, Halifax, HX2 9SU
GCSESchool terms and conditions
Fees – GCSESchool take weekly payments via cheque or bank transfer.
Missed lessons – We are unable to offer a refund for lessons missed due to illness or other absence. We will offer an alternative class or supply the lesson and homework missed.
Health & Safety – GCSESchool takes its responsibilities for the health and safety of its students seriously. All tutors are subject to a thorough check by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
Fire safety – Fire prevention, precautions and equipment are reviewed and checked regularly.
Pupil arrival and collection – It is the parent’s responsibility to ensure their child attends their session on time and that they make provision for them to get home at the end of each session.
